Discover What We Do

At Haven360 Wellness Foundation, we create pathways to healing, wellbeing, dignity, and opportunity by working with individuals, families, and communities to address the challenges that affect their lives and futures. Our work brings together mental health, gender equality, adolescent development, community health, sustainable livelihoods, and digital youth development through seven interconnected strategic pillars. We support women, girls, boys, young people, families, and underserved communities, creating initiatives that help people strengthen their well-being, develop their potential, and build more resilient lives. Because we believe that true healing and empowerment reach every direction of life, mind, body, family, community, and future with dignity, compassion, and professional excellence.

💚 Pillar 1

Making healing accessible, one person at a time
At our core, Haven360 is a mental health organization. We are building a professional counselling service accessible to communities across Zambia, training and deploying qualified counsellors to serve diverse populations through individual, group, and crisis counselling. We develop culturally relevant mental health toolkits and resources, run community awareness campaigns to break the silence around mental illness, and establish peer support groups so that no one has to carry their struggles alone. Mental health support is woven into every program we run, across every pillar.

👩 Pillar 2

Helping women rise, into their full, unashamed selves
We walk alongside women through healing circles, support groups, and empowerment workshops, with particular care for survivors of gender-based violence. We create practical resources for women navigating divorce, loss, reinvention, and healing, and we partner with legal aid organizations to connect women to protection and justice. Through our mentorship network, women leaders pour into the next generation, and we train community wellness champions who carry this work into their own neighbourhoods. We amplify women’s voices through storytelling, media, and advocacy, because rising should never happen in silence

🌸 Pillar 3

Empowering girls and boys to know themselves, love themselves, and thrive
Adolescence is a turning point, and we meet young people there. For girls, we deliver menstrual health and wellness education, school-based mental wellness sessions, and age-appropriate curricula on self-worth and healthy relationships alongside safe space clubs where girls can be fully themselves. For boys, we address the stigma that keeps them from seeking support, building programming on identity, emotional literacy, and healthy masculinity, with mentorship circles that give them room to grow. Across both, our goal is the same: helping young people build a foundation of self-worth that carries them into adulthood.

🤝 Pillar 4

Bringing healing to where people are, not waiting for them to come to us
We take our work directly into communities, schools, health facilities, and community organizations across Zambia, because healing shouldn’t require a hard journey to access. We train community health volunteers in basic mental health first aid, build our digital presence to carry wellness messaging further, and host community wellness events and media partnerships that bring mental health conversations into everyday life. Our reach also extends into spaces often forgotten: through our Prisoners Support Programme, we partner with the Zambia Correctional Service to bring mental health capacity-building and trauma-informed care inside correctional facilities.

🌱 Pillar 5

Healing that pays forward, building resilience, income, and wellbeing together
We believe wellness and economic dignity go hand in hand. We deliver vocational and entrepreneurship training to women and GBV survivors, and build savings and lending groups linked to financial literacy so healing translates into stability. Through our corporate wellness line, we bring workplace mental health training and EAP-style counselling to companies, including in the mining and banking sectors, creating a sustainable revenue stream that funds our mission. We also respond to the growing mental health toll of climate shocks like drought and flooding, and we advocate for safe drinking water access in underserved communities across North-Western Province.

🌾 Pillar 6

Turning the land into a future — for young farmers and rural women alike
For out-of-school rural youth and rural women, we offer farming-as-a-business training, covering agronomy, record-keeping, costing, and market access — and help them organize into agribusiness cooperatives and savings circles. We link trained participants to land, starter inputs, and microfinance, and partner across the value chain with extension officers, suppliers, and buyers. We’re also piloting high-value, low-land-footprint enterprises like poultry, horticulture, and mushroom farming for those with limited land — and because economic hopelessness and mental health are deeply connected, life-skills and wellness support is built into every training.

💻 Pillar 7

Equipping young people with the tools, voice, and connections to lead in a changing world
We’re preparing young people for a digital, connected future. Through ICT learning hubs, we teach foundational and intermediate digital skills, from computer literacy to coding basics and online safety. Through Haven360 School Speaking Clubs and an annual inter-school debate competition, we help young people find and use their voice with confidence. And through our Youth Exchange Program, we connect young people across provinces and borders for cross-cultural learning and leadership development, carrying mental health and wellness messaging into every space they lead.

These seven pillars don’t operate in isolation,  they reinforce one another. A woman trained in agribusiness may also join a healing circle. A boy in a mentorship circle may go on to lead his school’s speaking club. A community reached through outreach may become the next site for a peer support group. This is what “healing in every direction” means in practice: meeting people wherever they are, and walking with them toward wholeness, mind, body, family, community, and future.
We start in Zambia. We think regionally. We dream continentally. And we build one life at a time.
